Fundraising activities have begun for a chance of a lifetime study trip to Cuba in spring 2024. Guided by experienced percussionist and ethnomusicologist Christian Weaver of la Timbala we will dip deep into the culture and music of this vibrant culture with strong roots and thriving shoots. Ceremonies, rehearsals and lessons with prominent percussionists and singers. Music an every corner music of resilience to celebrate life.
